Paridoc doesn't track your residents.
No tracking cookies, no visitor profiles, and no record of who read which document. Here's exactly what Paridoc sends and keeps, for residents reading your documents and for visitors to this website.
Residents reading your documents
What the script sends
When a page on your site loads, Paridoc's script asks which of the page's document links have an accessible version. That request carries three things: the addresses of the documents linked on the page, your domain, and the version of our script. Nothing else: no cookies, no identifiers, and not the page the resident is reading.
What we never collect
- No record of who opened what. The lookup that decides where a link goes runs in a read-only database transaction, so it can't record which documents a visitor's browser saw.
- No browsing trail. We don't learn which page a resident was on when they clicked.
- No crawling through residents' browsers. Paridoc finds your documents with its own crawler. Residents' browsers don't report the links they see.
- No tracking cookies and no visitor profiles, in the script or the viewer.
The one exception: translation
The viewer can translate a document into 12 languages using Google Translate. Google's code loads only when a reader picks a language, and the viewer tells them first that Google will receive the document to translate it. A reader who never picks a language never contacts Google.
Serving from your own domain
If you serve Paridoc from your own subdomain, such as accessible.youragency.gov, the script,
viewer and documents all come from your own address. To residents' browsers, no other company's server
is involved.
This website
paridoc.net uses Google Analytics in cookieless mode to count visits. It sets no cookies. Google receives anonymous page views and estimates traffic from them. We don't run advertising or other trackers. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.
